What’s in a relationship?

As we all know, life runs a lot more smoothly when you are able to maintain healthy relationships. Whether it’s knowing that your trusted electrician will go the extra mile when working for your relatives, or sharing knowledge between departments to support each other with common targets – getting along makes us more productive.

The attached whitepaper provides more detail but, in the context of IT and business services outsourcing, relationships are key and will make a material difference to your company’s performance. Of course, “getting along” is important and helps to make the working day a more pleasant experience. However, making the relationship actually operate effectively works at many levels and will impact all company stakeholders from owners/shareholders (financial performance) through to the company’s own clients (level of service).

In fact, healthy relationship management with suppliers can increase service, quality, cost and other key performance indicators by 20-40% compared to your competitors (ref: Leslie P. Wilcox, Sara Cullen).

Recognising the importance of this, Quantum Plus has conducted research into the area, bringing to light some interesting data which we are using to support our clients with their Service Health Checks and supplier relationships.

We have also summarised our key findings into the whitepaper which you can find at the bottom of this post, allowing you to take the knowledge, to further explore and improve the basis of your current and planned relationships.

Have a read and let us know what you think.
